Pay It Forward, Pay It Back

While The Approved Family Foundation's work in the past has centered around helping veterans, homeowners and animals, we are excited to be extending our outreach services to qualifying candidates in the community who's needs fall outside of government assistance and are struggling to get ahead, despite being employed.
If you or your family have fallen on hard times, despite your hardest work, and need assistance, we encourage you to fill out our questionnaire to see if you qualify for community-sponsored local aid through the “Pay It Forward, Pay It Back” Approved Family Foundation initiative.
This program is for those individuals or families needing help with emergency expenses (or projects).
In exchange for aid, qualifying parties may either "Pay It Forward" by doing a certain number of Community Service at a pre-approved charity in Dodge County or they may "Pay It Back" - reimbursing the foundation in one lump sump or in a payment plan - to help others in need in the future.

Of course, for those choosing to "Pay It Forward" each qualifying individual applicant will have different levels of skills and mobility, which will be taken into consideration as we coordinate community service options. The number of community service hours is determined on a sliding scale based on the dollar amount category.
Our “pay-it-forward” community service options must be done within 90 days and can include anything from lending a hand at a local animal rescue to helping a community member complete a project. A list of organizations accepting "Pay it Forward" program volunteers can be found here.

The Approved Family Foundation’s mission is to help raise up the community in Dodge County by providing temporary help, with dignity, as well as as encouraging positive community interactions that will drive Eastman forward.
